Ancient Egypt (c. 3100 BCE – 332 BCE)
- Birthplace of one of the world’s earliest civilizations along the Nile River.
- Known for pyramids, temples, hieroglyphic writing, and advances in science and medicine.
- Ruled by pharaohs, considered divine kings.
Greek & Roman Period (332 BCE – 641 CE)
- Conquered by Alexander the Great in 332 BCE.
- Ruled by the Ptolemaic dynasty, with Cleopatra VII as its most famous queen.

Islamic Egypt (641 – 1517 CE)
